I don't know why people are surprised by this.....
The guy says all you need to hear when he says, "The NBA is a business"
This goes for every professional sport.
Have you ever been to a carnival? Try and make a basketball shot. Throw 90mph at some "cups". Feels rigged no?
Why doesn't anyone come "forward" because they are paid handsomely to go along with it (Players all knowing the rims are magnetic doesn't give one team the advantage anyway)
To expand on the "magnetic" aspect further all you have to do is wonder why MOST playoff series go to 6 games. Even when a team is up 3-0 the other team somehow manages to win 2 games and push game 6(More excitement with fans = more cash) **Just ask the Celtics fans who paid 28k for seats to game 7
YOU CAN TRY THIS AT HOME too btw. There's something called "vibrating magnets" and they can be remote controlled from a distance. It's real simple. At any point the remote controller holds the button and the rim itself begins to shake(not visibly) but enough to give any shooter posting up from distance some trouble. This doesn't mean all shots won't go in but your far more likely to make a layup or dunk obviously because the trajectory/speed of a distance shot hits the rim with far more force. If you can just "swish" the shot your fine. Same as a carnival lmfao
