OG almost single handedly propelled them to a solid playoff team. As soon as OG was injured they crumbled. doeesnt matter how many 40 pt games Jalen had, Defense wins Championships and OG is a DPOY that 60% of the time is an 3 as well. Porbably best 3 and d in the game today.

But OG is a perfect 3rd or 4th guy, while Randle is not (yet definitely isnt a #1 or #2). OG doesn't need the ball a ton, he can space the floor and shoot the 3 at a good clip, and he plays defense as well as anyone in the league. The same can't be said for Randle who needs the ball, can't defend, and is a shit shooter from outside.
