I just don’t understand why you’re putting the blame on Tatum when he was arguably the best player in the entirety of the eastern conference playoffs? I know you didn’t actually watch the Heat series, but surely you haven’t already forgotten how he was torching Embiid and whoever else on the perimeter… over, and over, and over and over….

Nobody is putting THE blame on Tatum. We all acknowledge that Brown had an absolutely horrible series, and just an embarrassing game 7.

It's the fact that you're not putting ANY blame on Tatum talking about how well he played when the man vanished in the 4th quarter almost every single game and shot 14-for-40 in games 6 & 7. Like come the fuck on.....

Somehow Tatum gets all the credit when they're winning, yet you never put any blame on him when they lose. It's just funny....

Tatum was our best player, by a long margin.. and probably the best player in the eastern conference playoffs. Can he be better? Yes, starting with his 3p shooting. Is he to blame? Fuck no. He needed a legit #2 beside him. Especially when he went down in game 7…. That’s perfect time for JB to show up and prove to the world he’s a rightful superstar and right there on JT’s level….. he did the complete opposite to that. He didn’t show up ONCE in the entire playoffs. Did he even have a single 30 point game? I sure as fuck can’t remember many

Okay, so where was Tatum in the 4th quarter games 1, 2, and 3 (which he didn't even play in because he got stomped out so badly)???? Not a single field goal as they went down 0-3 and you REFUSE to blame him for it rofl

I mean this guy vanished many times when they needed him most and all you do is make excuses. It's clear Tatum isn't the guy you think he is. Did he play better than Brown? Absolutely. Did he play like a superstar? Fuck no.

He needed to increase his fg's made in games 1 and 2 for sure. But he was still scoring from the FT line and making plays, and playing defense. Yes he needed to be able to score more, obviously, but he was being doubled constantly and making the correct decisions when being doubled. But yes, obviously him scoring more will help the team. He was huge all playoffs though, you're literally nit picking at 4th quarter field goal makes while ignoring everything else he did for the team.

I'm not even going to make an excuse for him game 3... the whole team was rubbish and may as well have just played our deep bench.
