Just when I thought it couldn't get worse....He quotes Skip Bayless  I just can't.

Anyways, the Mavs are averaging the fewest passes per game in NBA history. I'm starting to agree with you guys....
Even with history saying the Luka should win the finals because if you don't have a player who has been a top 3 MVP caliber player, you have to be the Pistons to win(last 30 years), so losing to the Mavs who aren't even a team would absolutely be one of the biggest chokes ever.
Simply cannot lose to a 1 man iso player who plays only half the court.

Bad look for the NBA though if a Pistons like team is winning in 2024

Anyways

Jrue demolished Lillard in the playoffs. Most of you don't even know that because it was before some here even watched basketball, but he straight up DOMINATED Lillard.

Jrue wasn't voted as the most underrated player in the NBA in a players poll for nothing.

Imagine Jrue gets another ring this season?

2x NBA Champion
2x All-Star
3x All-Defense 1st team
3x All-Defense 2nd team

Career averages of 16/6/5 over 15 years.

Should have a DPOY under his belt, but we know how that goes.

And the most likeable teammate on any team.

You're clearly caught up in the moment, Jrue was talking about retirement last season and when forced to step up as the #2 on offense he was pretty bad

Not only was he bad as the #2 on offense, on the other side he was extremely stubborn. Others tried to take him away from manning up Jimmy Butler but he refused. So he just let Butler roast him the entire series

Everyone knows Holiday struggles if his man is taller than him, he needs to body a smaller guard to be at his best defensively (like how he did so well against Dame and CP3)

Maybe you should blame Morey for not stepping up to take Holiday when he was available in Portland. Morey could've pulled the trigger earlier and redirect Clippers return to POR, but didn't

Clippers could've offered the package instead of Harden

Knicks had million picks and didn't pull the trigger

Jrue only looks this good because he's able to take a back seat to multiple guys on both ends

"caught up in the moment" That's exactly it. People just LOVE the "now". Not true for the Celtics though. People just focus on their finals loss a couple of years ago and not the great ball they have played all year.

Anyways, Jrue's career playoff shooting is disgusting outside of 1 Portland series. Shot @ level Tatum during his finals trip with the Bucks. Jrue shot 27% in 4 of the 6 finals games

Look at his efficiency on the Celtics compared to the rest of his playoff career. Not so hard when he can be the 5th best player on any given night and not the #2 or #3 like he was forced to be on the Bucks.
