You keep saying the U.S. economy as if the wealth of a handful of billionaires really helps you sleep at night. The 7 most powerful companies are doing great but otherwise companies in the U.S. are bleeding and costs are up on everything you can think of. Gold has made the U.S. market gains seem tiny, which reinforces the notion that hedging against traditional market gains has been super successful. Unemployment is not down unless you believe fairytale numbers Trump lackeys are willing to lie to you about. Anyone with critical thinking skills can see that AI investment needs to have a payoff. When more than 80% of the stock market is propped up by tech and AI investment, there better be a damn good return for these venture capitalists. One of the cleanest ways to get that return is to eliminate labor costs, and companies are already in the process of cleaning house to get those balance sheet numbers pumped.
