The big fella lives in a world where he has to nit pick negative Tatums stats because his team ultimately overlooked him. It’s basically a deflection mechanism in an attempt to hide the fact that his own team is terrible.

Tatum came up SMALL in the 4th quarter in most games. Man scored a total of 8 field goals in the 4th quarter in 7 games, and 5 of them came in one game that was already a 20+ blowout 😂

Tatum and the Celtics are EXACTLY who we thought they were. Inconsistent, too reliant on threes, and simply not killers. Yeah, they can barely beat a 76ers team that they match up with better than anyone else and who never even get out of the second round anyway. Now the Celtics are throwing a parade for that? Celtics were down 2-3 to the 76ers and down 0-3 to the Heat the following round. They're lucky they made it as far as they did. They're not the unstoppable force that Celtics homers talked them up to be all season long. All their issues in the regular season came front and center when it mattered most.

Keep cherry picking whatever stats fits your agenda though while conveniently ignoring that Butler was a ghost for large portions of the series too.
