Knicks won't win 3 in a row lol. Any team that plays good team basketball such as the pacers will beat the Knicks in a 7 game series. Just like Boston gave them a run.

I think the Pacers will still win this series. They are almost a carbon copy of the Bulls, especially on defense, except they have a size advantage. The Pacers' lack of scoring might hold them back, but all they really need to do is start abusing the block. Chandler can't handle it all by himself, and Indiana can actually toss him around a little bit. I think Indiana plays a much more consistent game which leads to success while the Knicks are too reliant on streaky shooting to win games. I just don't see that working against a rock-solid team like Indiana the same way it worked against a depleted Boston team.

We have Chandler and K-Mart.

J.R. Smith has been shooting like Toney Douglas and we still almost won game 1 and we blew them out by 30 game 2. Melo played horrible game 1 and they still only won by 7.

Pacers shot lights out and they only won by 7.

Who is going to score besides George? West? Well he better if they want to keep pace because Shumpert has George on lock.

Bring STAT back for game 2 and that's a whole other presence they have to account for. He may only play around 10-15 minutes but who is going to guard him? Hibbert is going to have to come out of the paint to guard him. He's going to live at the FT line.

I really think you have it the other way around.

Pacers look too good defensively and in the paint.
I don't think Melo can shoot the Knicks to a victory.

How did they look game 2?

We're playing TEAM ball anyway, Felton and Shump stepping up big.

Melo is going to light it up Saturday with 4 days of rest for that shoulder.

I expect J.R. to come out guns blazing attacking and on his game because Woody threatened to bench him.

It didn't impress me. They were contesting a lot of shots NY were just hitting them.
I don't think they can consistently shoot like that against this Pacers team.
Plus I don't see them winning one on the road here.

If Melo can shoot well and Shump/Felton keep their play level up the Knicks have this.
But I don't see it happening.

It's okay.

Everyone said the Knicks wouldn't stay in the 2nd seed.
No one voted for the Knicks to be the Atlantic champions.
People said the Knicks would be eliminated in the first round.

Let me ask you this, do you expect J.R. to continue playing terrible? Because he's been flat out AWFUL and yet we only lost game 1 by 7 points and we blew them out the water by 30 game 2.

Even with that shoulder Melo scored 32 game 2, and he wasn't "on".

The Knicks main makeup are shooters, Melo, J.R. Felton, Shump, Novak, Prigioni, Kidd, Copeland.

Add STAT for a post presence and mid range.. Indiana has a lot to account for. Hibbert is going to have to come out opening the paint for us to attack.
