but all of that is already equated into the numbers I am getting. The math is done. you dont keep doing math with the numbers I give you

you fail to understand this.

Do you not understand how the mean average statistic is calculated?

This is actually a good question. But because of Jamal Murray & MPJ & honestly supporting cast around, I’ll give Embiid + Nuggets the edge.

Jokic makes role players better but there is only so much you can get out of PJ Tucker & Harden has proved his ceiling on so many different teams.

Harden very clearly regresses in every major stat compared from regular season to playoffs.

Also almost every player gets more fts in the playoffs.

The reality you fail to see is that Harden fades in the playoffs you cant accept that narrative it seems to irk you and thats okay thats fine but you need to call a spade a spade otherwise you arent much better than those PARD psychos

but it's just that, he doesn't fade in the playoffs. he's the same relatively inconsistent player he is during the regular season with flashes of brilliance followed by complete duds

the area he suffers most is that his style was to drive and hope for a call and in the playoffs they swallowed their whistles on him which lead to turnovers or "missed FGA" causing his stats to drop

i love harden, but i'm not blind to his faults

all i'm saying is it's been a theme to say he "fades in the post season" when in reality he's basically the same guy, just doesn't get the benefit of the calls that he otherwise would during the regular season

e/

that said, true competitors usually raise their game in the post season - ie what you pointed out in LBJ, murray, etc

hardens biggest fault (but also what i honestly love about him) is that he just doesn't care; you can tell he doesn't, and that effort is why he will never be on the level of guys like curry, lebron, etc

2nd e/

imagine hardens natural abilities with westbricks work ethic and on court effort :D
