It would be wild to say that the Mavs are the worst finals team in 10 years considering the type of teams they faced to get to the finals. All I heard pre playoffs was how Jokic was far and away the best player in the world and how the Wolves were far and away the best defense in the league. Neither of those juggernauts made it to the finals.

The mavs beat 3 of the 5 best record in the NBA. Three 50+ win teams. All to get to the finals. That was an impressive run. Especially considering the Celtics didn't even see a team with a top 10 record lmao.

For reference, Jokic beat 0 the year he won a ring. Also, there were 18 teams with better records this season than the best record he faced during that run. Yes, you heard that correctly.
