We traded OG with 6 months left for an entire 4 year contract of Barrett through his prime. We also snagged Quickley who has a high ceiling so ya this is a fucking crazy gg trade for Toronto. MASAI COOKING

Oh ok, quickly is a good Bench player,

Hopefully Knicks turns OG into Allstar Core with Brunson and Randle

He will most likely start for us.

Even more is the fact that RJ is Canadian and grew up a Raptors fan. He's one of the few guys in the league excited to go to Toronto and play there.

Sad but true

i know og only like 26 but hes had ample opportunity to showcase his ceiling and hes just never quite broken through for any length consistently as a two-way player, hence him always being praised as 'best perimeter defender' as a consolation

rj at 23 is already at least on par with og and certainly has his best days ahead

quickley is solid, albeit a bit too much volume at times. if he can run any pnr with poeltl thats big time

we can hand him monopoly money and he will be happy instead of call his lawyers

Knicks biggest win here is shedding that awful RJ Barrett contract. OG gives them a major upgrade on the wing.

Relax, barretts avv is like 61st in the nba. Mid 20s isn't even remotely as bad as it use to be. Not saying his contract is great but saying it's AWFUL is a stretch . He's certainly a better offensive player.
