If we talking a playoff run then Nuggets, Jamal Murray excels in the playoffs where Harden collapses. Much larger impact than swapping Embiid and Jokic.

this storyline on harden has always irked me

if you look at his numbers, he's not measurably worse in the playoffs than he is in the regular season; the only real drop is in FTA because everyone falls back on this "you can't make that call in the playoffs" line

kind of a bullshit argument in my mind; you don't change the rules of the game halfway through it. if you give him the calls in the first quarter of the first game of the season, you need to give them to him in the final 10 seconds of game 7 of the finals

argue all you want about his tactics, call him a bum who's chasing foul calls, etc etc, that's fair and valid for debate; but the "this is the playoffs" stuff when it comes to fouls is basically inserting a subjective rule change to end the season is kind of bullshit and has always been why he "struggles" in the post season

okay

regular season: 24.7p/7.0a/5.6r on .442/.363/.860 shooting

Playoffs: 22.7p/6.3a/5.5r on .424/.338/.869

He only averages one ft less per game in the playoffs. 1. And he shoots better ft% in playoffs.. The ONLY stat he improves in the playoffs..

Everything you typed is factually incorrect if you are saying 2 pts less per game isnt measurably worse but 1 ft per game is in the same token; measurably worse.

Why dont people at least check basketball reference before trying to mention facts about statistics? Does this White Knight only care about internet points arguing with rands? The amount of paragraphs in his response will tell us.

We can compare

LBJ reg season: 27.2 ppg
LBJ Post season: 28.5 ppg

Kawhi reg: 19.6
Kawhi Post: 21.4

Jayson Tatum: 22.5
Jayson Tatum: 23.8

I can keep going

that's a fair stance to take, if you don't like his style of play then don't give him the calls

but don't change the calls on the same plays he's been getting all season

guy, math is pretty hard

if you score 2ppg less, but lose 1 fta (that you convert 86% of the time - 0.8 points) your true drop in points is only 1.14 per game... ie not measurably worse

you can post players ppg all you want though to keep making yourself look foolish

Are you regarded?

Thats not how it works.

He scores 24 ppg in regular season and 22 in playoffs. There is no 'true drop' stat

you actually dont know what numbers are do you

well... that's how math works...

if you're losing 1 FTA per game and convert that free throw 86% of the time that the equivalent of 0.86 points per game lost

that would turn that 2 point drop in to a 1.14 point drop - ie not measurably worse

wanna do times tables next?

but all of that is already equated into the numbers I am getting. The math is done. you dont keep doing math with the numbers I give you

you fail to understand this.

Do you not understand how the mean average statistic is calculated?
