But he didn't win anything when he won MVP

Nothing

Got swept in thr first round and 4-1'd in the second in his two MVP seasons.

Now Jokic is trying to win a ring by beating an 8, 4, 7, and 8 seed. Without question the easiest road in NBA history rofl rofl

WHAT DID EMBIID WIN IN THAT TIME FRAME? Lololllllllll..

Jokic hears all this bullshit, pulls up dressed like them niggas from Peaky Blinders and is BUSTING EVERYBODY ASS in the BIG STAGE.

Embiid is a choker. Came up small when it mattered most.

You're still avoiding the fact that Jokic didn't do shit when he won MVP, just like Embiid. Two seasons in a row MVP, and didn't get by the first round one season and the second round the next season.

How is that any different? Oh wait, its not lol.

Agreed!! MVP is a regular season award and both Embidd and Jokic had great numbers in the regular season to back it up.

Jokic numbers aren’t crazy good end of the year and Nuggets not 60 win team so he lost it. Embidd caught fire end of the year and as a big center 33 point per game double rebounding is MVP worthy any year. B)

At what point does Philly consider trading Embiid and starting over? Several years in his prime and he’s not yet made the conference finals, not to mention guys that size have more injury issues/shorter careers. Not trolling or anything but genuinely curious what your thoughts are.

It all depends on what Harden does. If he leaves, they're in a tough spot with their cap and won't really be able to replace him due to new CBA rules and cap restrictions. From there, it'll be interesting to see what Morey does.

Trading Embiid now isn't an option, unless a team offers a killer package for him that blows the front office away. Otherwise, it's not negotiable. You can't just trade the reigning MVP in his prime just to trade him. This off-season will be trade heavy though, and a lot of movement could result in a lot of roster changes for most teams.

Dude that was an obvious troll. Nobody “trades Embiid.” Lol ever.. a team having a Giannis, Embiid, Curry, Luka etc would rather fucking die than lose that caliber of player. Those are jersey retirees.

Wasn’t a troll at all when I asked. He’s an MVP yeah, but he’s yet to make it to the ECF and has injuries every season (didn’t he sprain his MCL in the playoffs or right before?). At some point leaderships gotta take a strong look at any/all options. With their cap situation and Hardens situation, evaluation is absolutely necessary.

I’m not saying trade him but the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and hoping for different results.

Also Luka is a bad example. If Cuban doesn’t get him some help, he’ll bounce as soon as he can. Would you allow that, or would you trade him to try and recoup some assets if you know for a fact he’s leaving?

Bud. There are some generational stars that are actually almost untradeable because only another generational star can replace their value or a shit ton of pics + talent. & the teams that have those are so bad that the star would never want to go there.. Teams will give these players Super Max deals that only the team they have been on can give them & stars have to align for them to be in a position to shift teams.

Only times these work is when once in a blue moon they do become free agents or sign short term deals because of recently leaving a team. IE KD & Kyrie. AD etc.

Regardless of his lack of playoff success, everyone else but him will be traded & he will get extended till 2046 before the team lets him go.

Now if EMBIID asks for a trade, it’s a different story. This is the league we are in nowadays.

Wasn't a troll. People actually believe he could be traded.

Hell, Kimtown legit thinks Embiid is gone. That's not saying much because he believes a lot of stupid shit, but still.
