Not close, with Harden it’s gauranteed 2nd round exit and Embiid not reliable to play for whole season. Simmons and Fultz wasted of 2 picks.

Unless harden accepts a 25 mil per year deal like Duncan/Dirk did extending their career for 5 more years with team contending.



Yes at some point it’s better restarting in 2 years than mediocre for 8 years.

Nets restarted after KD/Cryrie. OKC restarted after Ibaka/KD/russ

Heat restarted after LBJ/Wade

Only a second round exit because they got matched up with the best team....

If the NBA re-seeded like other sports, they would have had the Knicks 2nd round and advanced. Would that be any better if they still lost in the ECF's against the Celtics instead?

At the end of the day the Sixers are right there. Can easily make a case as the second best team in the NBA. Unfortunately, they got matched up with what most consider THE best (and favorite to win it all).

Nah no team is the Best. The league is balanced with all teams having 1-2 allstars. Boston/bucks/Sixers/Lakers/warriors/Suns/Nuggets/heat come playoff time they are all equal talented team

Sixers we’re never second best team or favored to win it all with harden Harris Embidd playing like that. They r equal with other team though. Too many 3 for 15 shooting harden games.

NBA play in is Super fair! Giving lower seed 8-12 having a chance to join playoffs.
