Building a PC $1500 to 2000 - Truthfully I have never built my own PC so I want someone to help me gather ideas on what motherboard/GPU/Processor to use while still being able to have the computer last at least 5 years.

I'd like to keep Windows 10 home/pro of course disregard this in the price setup because I will be buying a legal key :)
Not picky about whether its intel or if it's AMD

I play GTAV and should mention I like to stream. I am not a daily streamer as I have my IRL job however I would stream probably a good 5-8 hours on some days if possible.
Sometimes maybe the new call of duty coming out and Diablo 2 Resurrected

Someone who puts together these ideas please share the build picture and or I will be TIPPING those that give me ideas and comment about why.

Personally, I think you should wait until the 4000 series gpus official prices and specs are released. That should happen by next month. It will give you the possible chance to get a much better card than what’s out now if rumors are correct

I agree with the post above to an extent. The parts available now will easily get you to the 5 years of usability and end of cycle parts can have pretty good deals. Overall it's up to you if you want to wait or not

I agree with theses guys about waiting on the gpu but in the mean time we can still look into building the other aspects of the pc

What resolution do you want to play at?

People always say wait for the launch of the new cards, and I don't really agree unless you're an enthusiast. You're going to paying MSRP. People are playing current modern titles (with ease) on products 5 generations old.

I'd say right now, for what you want to achieve you could easily go Intel 12th Gen for around $1500 and have amazing performance.

For what you play and do, the new generation cards won't have a major FPS/Texture improvement. And 12th Gen utilizes PCIE GEN4 interface, you're going to be flying.

I will post you a build asap.

e/ are you USD/CAD/EURO?

If you the i5 is a soild choice for gaming and should be enough to stream also. It will be able to handle any gpu also

Total without gpu os 1k usd so u have 500 to 1k for a gpu. If you go for a lower end gpu then we can make adjustments.

The noctua cooler listed with no price is $94.99 on Amazon

This is CAD $1983.02

People might baffle at the fact that this board won't overclock, but you won't need it to. Just using the i5 12600KF vs the i5 12400F, you obtain 10cores/16threads vs 6cores/12threads and will have the capacity to still lock your base frequency at around 4.40ghz boosted consistently. It's a fairly substantial upgrade over the i5 12400f, and paired with this B660 ROG Strix Motherboard you will have great power delivery along with 16GB DDR5 4800mhz (achievable with i5 12600KF). This is an Mini ITX build, which are my fave.

If you down to 11th Gen, that would be the way to hit the $1500.00 mark ~ and 11th Gen is amazing in it's own right, still utilizes PCIE Gen4 Interface with NVME's and RTX 3060 series+ cards.

/e for an extra $110.00 you can get yourself an i7 12700F which is another level up on that i5 series

Intel is the new " Best Bang for the buck" ( Not to mention AMD CPU's are having many performance issues with windows 10/11 ) - Latest Model CPU Excellent for Gaming & Applications.
Intel Generates less heat , air cooling is fine. How ever I recommend water cooling for better heat control, so you can keep those ram clock's high, and also not worry as much about storage damage. ( Cooler has HD Display for Temps ect )
Motherboard is the Latest 690Z Model - Which includes compatibility for DDR5 Ram - Also Includes WIfi 6 Gen + Bluetooth 5.2 , and also Faster PCI Express speeds.
SSD Samsung 980 Pro 1TB - A lot of Super Fast storage for a fair cost. Its an M2.Stick so it plugs into the motherboard almost like ram cards ( no wires required ) = Better air flow and less chance for data loss.
EVGA Is the better brand for video cards, the RTX 3060 12GB - is Decent enough to run 2022's games on medium settings for 1080P at 80 FPS - Just a Price Point Spot Holder ( Until the 4000 Series is available ect )

Asis ROG Strix Helios Case - Full Tower Looks Great , has 3 Magnetic Dust filters , Plenty of room for cable management , Great alignment ( Space to fit every part you can think of ) Also has Velcrow Straps to carry it.
Also comes with a Fan controller Hub which is fully Supported with most softwares. Speed , Lights.

Asus Thor 2 Power supply 1000 Watts 80+ Platinum. This is enough to power a CPU & GPU water cooling tank system.
- Platinum is like the highest Rating , its more Efficient which means it burns less electricity , Resulting in a lower Monthly Electric bill, and it helps the motherboard Capacitors from surges that cause them to get hot / overheat / diie ect.
This is definitely something you will want to get if you want your computer to last a long time without error or other upgrade issues in the long run.
Plenty of High Quality Cable/connectors to power everything. Good Variety to support old school parts if needed.

Intel has always been the best bang for your buck. AMD came in hot couple years ago slamming prices down just to get people utilizing their processors, and then hiked their prices. Intel FTW.
