Live in the United States, I know Intel 13th Gen is coming out, but haven't heard anything about an I11.
If such a thing does become a thing, there would be less than a 12% Boost , and almost twice the price.
Wouldn't be worth it.

Im asumming your computer is very old then, if it barely functioons and you will most likely have to get a new mobo , ram, psu and gpu( optional). So you're looking at a new setup. Do you have a budget and use case in mind?

I currently have a ful sized tower with a 700psu and quad core cpu that I will likely reuse at least the tower and psu, but I’m also looking to build a micro station for a projector room.

Finally turned the corner in being an adult with an adult job not too long ago!

Almost 75$ more, and only a 3% difference.

Ah, so I was looking on intel website and they said up to 16 cores. That would be for specific higher level i9 cores then? Whatever that actually means. 8 is still above the standard which is basically equal for i9 and i7?
