I will start my university course in September and I will need a proper laptop to work with when I’m in school and on the run.

I need some help as hardware is not what I am good at.

I work with Zbrush, UE5, blender and at times I will use texturing tools such as substance painter and of course Photoshop.

I will work with rather large files, so I’d really want some guidance here.

I guess I don’t want to upgrade it anytime soon, however, my teacher said these minimum recommendations just for reference:

RTX 2060
16 GB ram
15-17’’ screen.

These seem far too low for me though… can anyone give me some insight?

It will be strictly for CREATING and DEVELOPMENT. Not for gaming.

If you're not strapped for budget: https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/macbook-pro/16-inch

It'll definitely last you for a long time.

There's no point in my entire lifetime I would buy a mac for UE5 development :P

I have a macbook, and a station PC, however. I need a windows PC laptop!

Then it's the Dell XPS 15 OLED, can't beat the 3050 Ti discrete.
