I bought one of those NZXT BLD models a few months back for $1899. Came with an i5 11600k, kraken aio cooler, MSI wifi mobo, MSI RTX 3070, Seasonic 850w gold PSU, 16gb 3200mhz ram, 1TB m.2 ssd, and nice NZXT case. It ended up costing me $800 loss to buy a pre-built because of GPU prices. I built every other PC in the past but times are different!

If you only waited a few months cause gpu prices crashed

Agreed with this. But not bad if you dont want to build your own.

I didn't really want to build my own again. I did end up buying this prebuilt from microcenter. its been working fine running 5 instances of d2r. I may want to upgrade to 64gb of ram though.

Ah nice, yeah my previous PC I went prebuild due to not wanting to set aside the time to make it. I see both sides of the coin, I'm glad its running well

not a fan of the 3080, i feel like you should either splurge for the 3090 or downgrade to a 3060 ti or 3070 to save $. the performance per cost on the 3080 doesnt seem worth it.

Remember when GPUs were priced in 3 tiers? $100, $200 & $300? CPUs were like that a few years ago, GPUs not so since like 10 years ago lol.

You had:

budget - oddball Intel/AMD dual core - 3050 (ATI equivalent) $<100

Low - $100 i3/ryzen3 - 3060/amd equivalent
mid - $200 i5/ryzen5 - 3070/amd equivalent
high - $300 i7/ryzen7 - 3080/amd equivalent

then a huge price jump for higher builds. The $1,2,300 is long gone.
