Found my GPU fans spin, LEDs light up but no display.

Isolated issue to GPU Geforce rtx 3080 ti by using a working gpu

Was able to reinstall my drivers but still no display with my original GPU installed. I did try both performance and quiet mode.

My question is after seeing no obvious visible issues on the GPU, does someone with experience repairing GPU's have a suggestion on what the specific issue is?

Google seems to point to a couple blocks on the board that hold the picture but I'd like an expert opinion if possible.

I did buy a new GPU but I think it would be fun to fix this one

Need a thermal camera and multimeter to see where your amps are going
Very hard to diagnose it without basic equipment.

Have you checked the PCB for hairline cracks or other visual damage? Can take a picture on phone and zoom into areas of concern like the pcie connection which I have seen many vids identify as GPU failure cause. Blown capacitors are easy to spot as well.

Next level you'd pull schematic and start probing circuits at low voltage

Could it be weak solder points? People actually bake their GPUs in oven to fix that, and it does work a lot of the time. But I think it's one way street, either fixes it, or problem becomes worse.

On the upside thats one of few "repairs" you can do at home
