Hey guys, first time PC builder here. Ever since buying this PC ive noticed it loads the game extremely slow.

Not only that but when i start it, it takes up to 10 minutes for everything to load.

I am not sure if its related, but it often shows several of the same program running at the same time.

What parts do you have?
Also what program does it show running multiple times?

What kind of hard drive do you have?
Also that processor is kind of old. Did you buy any parts used?

You can check your hard drive health, also, you should not store >90% of your maximum storage. For example, if your SSD is 100GB then you should only store <=85-90GB because windows use some of your hard drive as virtual RAM to boost performance

I just realized that I don’t believe I ever actually got a hard drive smh. I’m remembering back and there was a point I remember looking up if you needed both and the technical answer was no. Is it possible I’ve run this off SSD and that’s why my speed is slow?

SSD would make the games load faster. If you still have a spinning hard drive, that would cause games to load significantly slower. If you have a link or model of what you currently have I can check it out for ya.

You can also check by opening Task Manager, then going to the performance tab and entering in the model that’s in the top right(or take a pic and I can tell you)

You bought a faulty hard drive.
