I kinda wonder what time the sales links will go live on newegg and amazon
The microcenter in my area opens at 6am but I dont wanna sit through an hour plus of traffic just to drive across town and have to take a raffle ticket to get one

its something about the consumer market today where one company has a 90% stake, one has a 10% stake. They both release more or less the same product at the same MSRP, the 5070 at $550 and the 9070 at $600 with almost equal performance.
But the 5070 is being scalped for $1300 if you can even get it scalped, and won't ever come close to its msrp for its entire print run because a 3080 costs $900-1000 when its msrp was $500 and it came out five years ago
Will the 9070 actually be sold today at $600? Probably not, even with the massive supposed supply. But maybe in the next weeks, or months

OK so Walmart was MIA for this
Best buy and Newegg only offer them in pre-built computers
Amazon is sold out or scalpers are trying to resell
Microcenter is the only place selling MSRP cards but their inventory versus this morning is going fast. Any non msrp models are still sitting unsold like the xfx mercury.
Crazy
I was gonna drive down to the one in my part of town but I'm pretty sure they will be out of stock on the 599.99 (9070 XT) cards by this evening
I wouldn't mind a 549.99 non xt but I feel like that extra 15% performance is definitely worth 50 extra bucks

pretty much all sold out instantly...
sapphire tech models are all marked up to 780$
sapphire pure model (the one im trying to get eventually...) is marked up to 750$ and sold the eff out.

honestly this whole gen is worth skipping as there is no real generational leap in performance since last gen. just upscaler upgrade and frame gen upgrades. Really disappointing that amd hardware locked fsr4 to the new 9000 series only.
anyways good luck to anyone getting a gpu for the foreseeable future its a crap show. personally still go with Amd.
