see my table on post #31? I did that, but I only managed to get up to 4800, not 5200. But only when I used 2x new RAM (only 2 slots). When using all 4x slots I only manage to get up to 4000
I understand, if BIOS detects different RAM types, it will resort to the slower speed and timings.
XMP profiles on Intel CPUs. EXPO profiles run on AMD CPUs.
JEDEC speeds and timings is not on par with newer DDR RAMs that can run with XMP, in yr case Intel CPU.
I can tell u that by not using the older rams (JEDEC profiles) and just your new XMP rams, you won't have your current issue.
Edit: Do this in your BIOS, with only old rams then new rams:
Your motherboard load defaults, then go to the RAM Settings and ENABLE XMP (No need to select profile)
motherboard should detect the type of ram with Type, Speed and voltage
"example: DDR3 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 1.500V"
If able to detect, note the difference for both sets of rams.
And if, still want to use both sets of RAMs, manually set the speed and voltage.
Maybe this youtube video can help:
