from what i know speaking with a NUMBEr of people, black ppl like tupac more. white ppl like biggie more because he was more educated and had some sort of logic in his lyrics. tupac was more racially esoteric and emotional in his lyrics

fact is biggie might've read one book, pac read over 300.

where biggie grew up with money, the kid with video game systems and still TRIED TO ACT like a hood g. as compared to pac ACTUALLY GREW UP GHETTO and came out way more brilliant. dont know where u got your knowledge kid


tl;dr

biggie grew up fortunate and tried to act poor

pac grew up broke and homeless and grew out of it and tried to return/give back/improve his community
