Diablo 2 is a masterpiece for sure, but it still has it's design flaws (like many old games) which they probably won't touch.
They'll be fixing bugs and minor adjustments (like quality of life improvements such as bigger stash space and shit) to maintain the original aspect of the game.

In Diablo 4, I HUMBLY BELIEVE (attention: personal opinion ahead), they'll try to bring out the best of d2 with modernized design while not making mistakes they did with D3.
At least, they have the chance to do it... while, of course, charging us another 50$ or more

Diablo 4 will be a shitty D3 clone with skeleton horse mounts, fairy wings and micro transaction transmogs. Running around with your KAWAII Pet who collects gold and points out hidden chests.
it will be impossible to communicate or even play with other users, items will be account bound so no need to trade
everything will be simplified so even a toddler can destroy mobs on super duper extra torment hell mode with 100,000,000,000,000,000 damage whirly barb by smashing X on a controller
this shit is so predictable -_-
