Rolled probably 4 weapons in the last 2 days with high roll gem strength. 3 today. Made sure they had semi decent rolls and aspects and sockets except a few. The kicker is they always rolled on something I decided not to mod some before rolling. Its whatever I can do everything except for 131+ in the pit without taking 10+ min.

For anyone thats curious, no gem strength is not "so OP that the stats on your stick dont matter". Seems to be what everyone is preaching. I agree with not wasting mats because thats how I managed to roll so many gem strength but at the end of the day if it DOESNT roll modifiable with gem strength its cooked. Maybe have fun with it on an alt character. But dont waste your time with it. Just keep rolling.

Also, another tip i have is to roll 850 gear also. They're cheaper to mod up and sockets dont require prisms on 850s.

Rolling for gem str nearly killed me this season. I finally got it after nearly 1200 transfigures. For my last 400 I started only doing GA Weapon Damage 2H Maces. Just got it tonight

ye fuck getting gem strenght on a shitty wep, 1 ga min did hit it on 2ga wep (crit dmg and all damage) myself

Ive run out of forgotten souls like 4x upgrading the weapons fully before transfiguring.. Do you guys just run the risk of not doing that and hope you get gem strength and a chance to still upgrade? 99% of the time it becomes unmodifiable.

Its pissing me off trying to get gem strength, ive got almost 500 fury amazing rolls on gear except gem strength..still need flawless gems, glyphs all 130+ and cannot break trillion damage hits sustained seen a few.

Paragon points really get your damage into the trillions. You want to hit all legendary nodes prior to filling in the bonuses. Paragon 200+ for sure.

I hit maybe like 40-70 trillion on my barb with no gem strength, but I do have the 6 flawless horadric skulls. My glyphs are also all at 150.

Any ways, yes I think everyone is just rolling every item until it hits gem strength + modifiable. I've about 10 gem strength items but non modable. Maybe two of the items have decent stats and sockets but my gear ive been using is still better than those items.

im maxed paragan lol ( , so maybe higher glyphs and I know the skulls help a lot.

Bought skulls went to 20Trillion hits now so dumb, cant get much more damage without the gem strength rolls. Have to push by tier 140s now to upgrade glyphs.

knowing blizz they prob arent adjusting the gem str roll chance along with its nerf so gem str is completely dead

Thats just upcoming s14.

I still have not rolled a usable + gem strength this season over 1k crafts.. its stupid .
