Yeah keep your old folder/save folder so you don't lose your characters.
Other than that, best thing you can do is re-install.

reinstalled and still not working...my game.exe disappeared, then when i download a new one i get that error message...anyonne know what the problem is? literally no clue what could have happened i only use my laptop for d2 and nothing like this has happened before

Any luck getting that fixed chips?

I needed a break from grinding nm andy so I went for a bit of new ladder to relax. First day an eth peasant crown dropped from my nm andy kill (AGAIN!!) so I think the game is telling me to get back to SP. Updates this weekend for you Mr Textbook.

not my pally but went on my zon for first time in 2 months, did 1 lk run and this happened lmfao, my first hr from LK in like last 15+ hours of running it

Back up and at it again. Terrible luck though.

I've had to focus on kicks both because I cant use bf in act 1 nm, and because the damage sucks until I get a better weapon. After act 3 I think I will respec and start using a runeword sword for bf and free up 9 points used in claw mastery.

Highlights recently:

She is good for bows if nothing else :/

Bit of a holiday break

More reruns and I finally got bored enough to progress

No reruns allowed. I'm feeling kinda confident for act 4 (even without the shield). Dual claw time

Maybe get a few runewords for myself too now that I can use them again. Act 4 Nm rules for the unaware:

Quote (Mr Textbook)

Act 4

You may not use a shield in Act 4. The only exception is when you fight Izual.
You may not use the "Cannon Be Frozen" mod or thawing potions against Izual. (You may use half freeze duration)
You may complete the Hell Forge on this difficulty. (Added for so there isn't any confusion).
When in the Chaos Sanctuary, you may not use any level 24 skills. You may not have above 60 in any resistance.

Time for a bit more progress

Slow but easy

Act 4 was very easy so far. This is going to change in chaos sanctuary as I relied heavily on lightning sentry, mind blast and dragon flight so far!
