What about going the other route? As in, skill however u like, stat however u like, and try with the least possible amount of items.
Don't know how doable that would be with certain classes, but going back to the unoriginal paladin. I wonder with how many items its doable? a shield+gloves ( life tap), or just shield + wand?
Would this be an interesting challenge?

Actually I'd like some input from all of you about what is possible in UT. For sure, I cannot test all the 'routes'.

Cleglaws seem fine indeed ! Though the AR boost is not really huge at low level... And chance-to-hit, anyhow, is also related to Uber levels (110 !). I keep this in mind for the moment.
