ok. this quest is personal. this is where my previous hydra sorc died in her walk.
taking it slower. making sure all the bodies pile up in the same couple areas so i don't accidentally walk over a non exploded body. merc is tanking minions and corpse explosions like a champ.



with time, he goes down

prepping for ancients. i forgot how many potions i dropped. somewhere around ~25 +/- easily under the 50 rule.



got korlic by himself. mods aren't crazy.

pew pew hydras!



one down. 2 more to go.



got madawc by himself. he's the one i always fear with his crazy throwing.

it took a while to position this correctly, but definitely worth it. merc takes a beating from his throwing attack. madawc tries throwing at us, but it hits the building instead... but i can hit him



merc wouldn't chill, and every once in a while he would run up to him, so i'd have to reposition. it worked though, and the hydras slowly continued working their magic.



slowly but surely, the scary one of the 3 is dead! 1 more to go!

and now it's just talic. he's locked on merc.



he goes down at a decent rate with orb. he doesn't do too much damage with his melee attack, but i need to throw a potion at my merc every 2 or 3 whirlwinds. used the most potions on talic, actually.



and finally, the third is defeated!

still have quite a few potions on the floor. used maybe half of them.



jenny found out you can get stuck on the korlic statue. teleported on him by mistake, then couldn't move by running.



made it safely to the wp, and i believe in the next sitting, jenny will be seeing how difficult the baal minion waves are!
