I'm using the Meteor skill granted by my staff for the first time because this worm is cold immune.

And the first monster that I just gave up on trying to kill:



This leaper ran around too much for my merc to take down. It regened life faster then he could take it. I thought about making malice for him, but mid-nm he needs the LL now.



Merc took out this guy OK though.


I found a Ral, so time for a caster amulet:

Got some cold res, so saved, but otherwise, meh.

All caught up. I need to hopefully finish A2 today, but wife may have other plans. I'll extract the belt video now.. Stay tuned

Going to get Fangskin:



Found or ID'd during the Fangskin battle:

It replaces a 10GF sc and a poison res sc.


Fangskin drops:


So that place is dangerous... I ALMOST had my first s/e moment, but persevered. Fangskin (or the other nearby unique) had Fanat aura, and was near the door. I got in a few licks, but was forced back to L1 to regroup. When I went back in I teleported over them only to land in the midst of a second unique snake group

I got hit a couple times, used a bunch of juvs, teleported away again and TPd. I then took the WP and ran back to the viper temple as the TP was too hot. Only one snake & Fang was still waiting by the door when I got back so I cleared them and the rest of level 2 much more cautiously. Phew...

Then I finally got what I came for..

And then I went to go find a summoner.

On the way a new merc helm:

And with that Penelope was off to the O tomb.

Got all the WPs:


A Basinet dropped and I needed to do something with the gems I've been saving, so a random craft turned into another upgrade for merc:


Another gear update: a nice little charm:

Duriel smote Gulzar at least four times. I'm not so skilled yet to try and fight without a meat shield so I did my best to keep him alive with pots.
