also we make cinnamon pull aparts, green chili, scalloped potatoes, rice, pot roast, boneless bbq ribs.

tons of slow cooker recipes out there :)

I really like putting chicken in, then cover that with 16oz of spur cream then some instant rice and lots n lots of cheese.

It's really good when finished.

so not original.

our slow cooker only sees:

pork roast w cubed potatoes, diced onion, carrots, celery and canned sweet corn.

spices here n there.

do you pan sear your roast to "lock in" the juices?

i get mixed results, sometimes its great other times its tough even after a slow 8 hour session....

searing only adds flavor, it doesnt do anything to lock in juices.
