Slow cooking in a crocpot works wonders, it slowly cooks in the sauce and damn they turn out fine. Usually start it before I go to bed and in the morning they're done.

i think i just puked a little.

although i wont fully judge until ive tried it. maybe. my friends wife used to make a sauce w ketchup and a couple other things and it was surprisingly good.

i made some meatballs the other night w ground lamb, ground veal, s/p/o/g, oregano and a touch of liquid mesquite smoke. zomg so good and fantastic texture. just baked em on like 300 or so in the oven while i made some pasta to go with it. mmmm...

I mix jalapeƱos straight with ground beef to create my meatballs. Oh and some chili pepper.

To me a nice glaze is more important than anything, I love the meatball itself to be medium spicy, with a semi sweet glaze it creates a terrific meatball.

Normally I put them in the oven, take them out and glaze them, then throw them back in for 5 minutes.

Slow cooked meatballs are also great

My glaze is usually a mixture of hot sauce and honey with a few secret ingredients

Buy frozen meatballs from asian grocery, I like that texture better than the minced meat rolled into a ball meatball.
