It's ctc when struck instead of on striking which makes it fairly terrible. And LR @ lvl 12 is only gonna be -12 res on immunes, I'm not sure if that's enough to break most of them or not to begin with

Oh god it’s when struck.. you’ll have to teleport in a swarm of mobs to get it to proc

Hmm well they are asking for feedback. If it is changed to when striking, increased chance, and boost the level of the LR so that it has the sam -@ as a lvl 12 conviction, I think it would be dope

I’m thinking of a nova/thunderstorm sorc that wields infinity, and merc has Plague. That could be pretty clean

However assassin will be tier S+ both pvm and pvp after these changes.

being able to build a dragon tail assassin who can now farm ilvl 85 zones without fire immunes and can now simply alternate 1 TS -> 1 DT -> 1 TS -> 1 DT and unblockable, all while maintaining full ludicrous literally-kill-hell-diablo-in-1-hit damage, is gonna be interesting as a PvM option

I love how the act 1 mercs use freezing arrow, insight can be made in bows, and I really like mist. So much cheaper than Pride.

still gonna be infinity merc for most builds though.
I think the dragon tail assassin build will be 100% the same as it was in 1.14. At least flickering flame would be a more affordable helm option, but +2 sin / 20 fcr / 2x facet would outperform it

still, I found that the only real way to play DT in 1.14 was to just go 1 ts -> 1 dt, since 2+ ts charges was getting overkill for most monsters. If we're indeed able to keep it at 3->2->3->2 charges and hit for full damage every time, that's a hilariously insane boost in damage. That's when dragon tail is dealing 300k damage per hit fully charged instead of 30k uncharged

300k? Jesus. I've probably never even had a melee sin above like level 60 but I could see the buff was gonna be pretty crazy. But that crazy?

the real shame is that the same attack that does 300k damage in pvm might deal like 300 damage in pvp
its the result of multiplicative scaling of many modifiers. base physical damage * enhanced damage * physical resist * dragon tail % * fire skill damage * fire resist

So is it mostly seal popping Diablo and pvp then?

it gets hit twice by the pvp penalty, once on the physical damage potion, again on the fire damage portion based on life lost to the physical portion, and opponents will have 50% dr 75% resist instead of amp damage + conviction
and not sure any matchups exist where you can charge up tiger strike somehow. Maybe if you have a friend to hostile you and sit on the edge of town or something
