Who's left World Ladder 2022

Overview

For all of us remaining Diablo 2 lovers we have organized a World Ladder to get folks together and enjoy some quality PVP.
This ladder will be for a 6 month period, starting on 8/15/2022 ending 2/15/2023, we are accepting donations to be awarded to "Prize Winners". (Prizes listed at bottom)
Donations are not required.

General Rules

- No hacks of any kind
- All absorb has limitations per class/build.
- No more than 75% poison reduction is allowed.
- 85% resistance cap may not use 85%resis + sorb
- No use of Life tap in Melee vs. Melee duel
- No more than 40 Life Replenish is allowed on any character
- Items which contain spell charges are allowed, but the use of the charges is not
- No mercenaries are allowed
- No Guardian Angel Armors
- No Naked killing
- No Hotspurs unless used on Nec/Zon, Cannot be used with SOP
- No Gold Steal
- 100%+ resistance shields are your 1 piece of sorb/max res
- Ties are ties not first kill
- A maximum of one poison small charm per inventory
- Ias and r/w have no caps
- Only in game technique banned is overly defensive play
- No traps/missles may be casted prior to your opponent saying 'Go'
- Towning is infact a loss, accidental or not
- No extended use of houses, boxing
- Cannot enter Cold Plains
- Slow capped at 10%

Class Specific Rules

SORC-SPECIFIC RULES:

- No max res or absorb gear when using energy shield
- No prebuff energy shield, cube prebuff is allowed
- No more than 13 bmanas
- May use mana pots if es% is under 85%

NECRO-SPECIFIC RULES:

- Recast of bone armor and golem is allowed
- Bone prison is allowed (not vs. non-teleporting characters)
- All curses allowed except iron maiden
- Decreptify is not allowed vs characters that rely on frw
- No corpse skills are allowed
- Fire golem + dwarf star is allowed (not vs. fire trappers)
- Hotspurs are allowed, cannot be used with SOP

DRUID-SPECIFIC RULES:

- No snowclash
- No hotspurs
- Recasting cyclone, wolves, sage, ravens, and hurricane are allowed

ASN-SPECIFIC RULES:

- Dual claw assassins may not have +Maximum resistances
- +Maximum resistance rule exception, Ghost Sin may use Enigma of Dragon
- Dual claw assassins may not use hotspurs or tgods
- No prebuffing, cube buff is allowed
- May use infernos

BARB-SPECIFIC RULES:

- No prebuffing, cube buff is allowed
- 2 ravenfrosts is allowed, resistances may not exceed 250 cold resistance
- No hotspurs
- May use infernos, Nokozan.

AMAZON-SPECIFIC RULES:

- 1 skill pt cap on Poison Javelin
- Hotspurs allowed
- 1 raven frost allowed on stacking amazons (250+ cr stacked)
- No abusive use of strafe
- Zon cannot sit in one place throughout duration of duel

PALADIN-SPECIFIC RULES:

- Using a resistance aura counts as a piece of absorb when it has 2 or more points
- Cleansing, meditation, and prayer are allowed. Overly defensive use is not allowed.
- No hotspurs
- No Auradins

Challenges:

All match-ups will be FT5
When challenging on the ladder, post all information for both participants and send a personal message to the player you challenged ASAP. You must send a PM for it to be a valid challenge. You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge

When challenging, you may only challenge someone up to 2 places ahead of you on the ladder.
This does not mean you have to, but is advised if you wish to climb faster.
After a player has been challenged, they must accept the first challenge that comes to them. First come first serve for all challenges.
You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge. All other pending challenges will be on hold until the first intial challenge is completed.
After all ladder matches there is a grace period that comes into effect. The victor of a match does not have to accept another challenge until 72 hours has passed. However, if they chose, they may ignore this grace period and accept any new challenges

Rechallenges:

Players are allowed to re-challenge your opponent every 24 hours

Inactivity / The Dodge Rule:

After a challenge has been posted, it will stay open for 3 days. If the person defending does not accept the challenge, or the match does not take place within 3 days of the initial post, the challenger will automatically win the match due to the "dodge rule"

However challenges may be extended 48 hours if both parties agree.

I will not automatically update the dodge rule for you, you must quote the original challenge made and let me know. This prevents people have already talked to their opponent about the match and are simply waiting for it to take place from losing their spot.

You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge.

Posting Correct Screen shots:

The winner of a challenge must post at least two screen shots of the duel

One screenshot of message log showing at least 1 kill, with time shown

Creating a new character on the same ladder:

If you wish to change your character, you must restart from the bottom
If you remake your character (to change name or account, for example), you may retain your position, but only if the character remains essentially the same
Respecing your character is allowed, but only if changes made are minor. If you make any significant changes, you must restart from the bottom. This is to be judged at moderator discretion
