5 - 2 strength
17 - 10 life
8 - 5 life
21 - 5 strength

new rlvl= rlvl of highest affix + 10 + 3*amount of mod

17*.75= 12.75
5*.75= 3.75
8*.75 = 6.0

13+10+3*2

= 29

so possible to get 2 str 10 life on lvl 29 ring along with base mods 5 str 20 life

be gozu fury ring, 7 strength 30 life

just need to calc lvl req to gamble/craft at later

is it pointless to craft lld ammys and rings, hence they arent included in this guide? so, my question is, are rare rings and ammys>>>>>>the best crafted ones for llders? im referring to lvl 30 ofc... new to llding/crafting for lld, sry if its an obvious answer that i have no clue about.

the answer is that it's a waste of time because they aren't good generally.

This. Only situation which I can imagine when craft could be better than rare is when for some reason you need 20fcr on amu.
But still, it will be very plain, so you should rather avoid that kind of strange builds ^^

I forgot to say previously: thanks all ppl who pmed me with good words and also posted here ;)
Also thanks for donations ^^

Today SlumberingGiant asked me about crafting blood helm for lvl 18.
Since I would like to learn ppl how to calculate everything themselves let's try to do this exercise together :)

1) First, let's think what lvl of item we want? Of course 18 :P
We are looking at rlvl (required level) formula then :
new rlvl= rlvl of highest affix + 10 + 3*amount of mods
In our case we need this to be true:
18 >= rlvl of highest affix + 10 + 3*amount of mods
Even with just one mod we gets:
18 >= rlvl of highest affix + 10 + 3*1
5 >= rlvl of highest affix
So we know, that we want only one affix with rlvl lower or equal to 5.

List of all affixes which meets this requirement:

2) So what alvl would be the best for us? Look at the table, and choose mod which you want on your helm.
Let's say it's 10fhr. You can see that required alvl for it is 5.
Simplified formula to calculate alvl:

(1)ilvl = int(.5 * clvl) + int(.5 * ilvl)
(2)if qlvl > ilvl then ilvl = qlvl
(3) if ilvl < (99 - int(qlvl/2)= then affix level = ilvl - int(qlvl/2) else affix level = ilvl * 2 - 99.

(1) Let's say we are buying with character lvl 12, on norm
ilvl = (0.5 * 12) + (0.5 * 12) = 12
Normally base ilvl of magic item is equal to clvl + 5, but on norm it's caped to 12, so it's simple.
(2) qlvl of magic helm is 11 so everything stays as it is
(3) We check if 12 < (99 - 6). Yes, it is. Then alvl = 12 - int(11/2) = 7.

We wanted 5, so it's really close. We can do only a bit better:
(1) Let's say we are buying with character lvl 10.
ilvl = (0.5 * 10) + (0.5 * 10) = 10
(2) qlvl of magic helm is 11 and it's bigger than ilvl, so ilvl = 11 also.
(3) We check if 11 < (99 - 6). Yes, it is. Then alvl = 11 - int(11/2) = 6.

In fact, result will be the same for all characters from lvl 1 to 11.

(3) Just for the end let's check with what ilvl we have best chance to get 1 mod:
At ilvls 1-30, there's a 40% chance of 1 affix and a 20% chance each of 2, 3 or 4 affixes.
At ilvls 31-50, there's a 60% chance of 2 affixes and a 20% chance each of 3 or 4 affixes.
At ilvls 51-70, there's an 80% chance of 3 affixes and a 20% chance of 4 affixes.
At ilvls 71+, there's a 100% chance of 4 affixes.

Ours ilvl = 6 or 7, so we are fine.
Great :)

Short version: to get 10% Deadly Strike / 3% Life Stolen Per Hit / +20 To Life / [one affix from the list] helm,
buy magic helm and craft it with character lvl from 1 to 11 (your choice)

As always, if you see any bugs let me know - there could be some, since I wrote this rather fast.

/e One more think.
When you will sum all the frequencies from the table (let's say except for alvl 7) then you can calculate chance to get your affix easily.
In our case sum is 50, and frequency for 10fhr is 4, so chance is 4/50 = 8% chance to get 10fhr mod :)
