oh great yet another person buying a dually diesel so he can try to look cool. why do you need a 1 ton truck for? do you know anything about injectors or their cost? and if someone has been trying to hotrod it and fucked the injectors up are you sure there arent more motor problems? diesels get expensive really fast

Why the hell do you think you need a 1 ton dually?
That Injector "problem" could be 100 different things, $5,000 could easily turn into 8-10k

that truck is literally 30 seconds down the road from me. it's a solid truck I know the owner

the 7.3 was a good motor

but cummins or nothing imo (imma dodge guy so im obv biased towards cummins/ram) but they are better / far superior regardless of my bias

how do you get from 8-10k lol?
the heui fuel system used on 7.3's are probably cheaper than the fuel system on a cummins

you'll probably average in my area, 2000-2200$ for a set of 8 rebuilt injectors.... oh throw in a uhvc wiring etc 150-200$
bosch inline fuel pump, which rarely have iusses, another couple hundred bucks



and thats replacing the whole set

Well i haven't talked to the guy, he told me he would email me back in a day or two.
I found decent prices for just injector replacement,and know alot of people who are into fords & diesels. I work 10 steps from 2 major diesel garages.

Cause i like the truck ! I'm not gona buy a truck that i don't like it's style / output.
Truck makes plenty of power for what i need, and can be easily upgraded to make even more.



Lol hotrod it. Just cause it's lowered with smoked tail lights doesn't mean hotrod. Gives it a clean look imo

I can recommend the engine but I can't recommend the truck that comes with them. Not for someone with little mechanical knowledge. It's always one thing after another.
