Just had to put my dog to sleep... Had him for 16 years ..

5 years ago, we adopted a Boxer named Rocky (corny idgaf, amazing dog) brought us nothing but happiness and joy, eventually we found out he had a cancer of some sort, I was too young to understand, we had to put him down ourselves because to have a vet do it would have cost too much. I don't have any pictures of him. However, we did adopt a new pup (pit bull mixed with chupacabra is How my sister describes him) he's probably the ugliest dog I've ever seen, but Damn, he is fucking amazing (:

It was rough coming home from work for the first time without him waiting at the door for me

Sorry for your loss brother, it will get better, this is why I get puppies with my old dogs so they can live on through the youngins'.... you get a sense of your old dog in the pup because they mimic the old dogs energy and actions through their impressionable youth.

rip :( better than him suffering atleast. It gets easier but i cant say it goes over fully atleast it wont for me

had a bunny when i was a kid
the neighbours dog bit him when he was running around in the garden
he ( called vegeta ) wasnt dead but didnt eat anymore because of the wounds he had
so we had to kill him with a club
