Bad news... he fully recovered from the burn but still wasn't eating. He winded up prolapsing a cloaca, and I rushed him to the closes vet hospital. They did all they could but he lost circulation. They told me surgery was the only option, but he most likely would not make it. I chose to euthanize him and it was horrible. Sad day. Poor little guy went through so much.

What substrate did he have? since he got prolapse?

Contact the heating pad manufacturer and tell them what happened... They may have some reimbursement fund

I was using a newspaper substrate and I was changing it every single day since he had the burn.

I am building a snake rack this weekend to house 4, and I am going to the expo in philly on the 14th to spend some money on some pretty morphs I want to start breeding.








I might. I don't know if it is worth going through all of it though. Don't I have to prove that it malfunctioned? I still have the broken one. It was the thermostat though not the uth.
