This is my bunny, Nyx. She's a netherland dwarf mixed with holland lop, she barely shows holland lop though. It was her first birthday recently, so of course she wore a crown :)

My bunnies love dried papaya so when one of them turned one I went out and bought a fresh papaya for 9$...
They took one sniff and ran away... wouldn't touch it lol
note to self: fresh papaya is gross.

I haven't given Nyx papaya yet, but she LOVES banana.

You're buns are so adorable :). I love lop bunnies, they're so cute. I always wondered about them though, so I hope you can answer my question lol.

I read up a lot about how rabbits hear and how they move their ears for different moods and whatnot. I've wondered if their ears being lopped has any affect on their hearing, since they open their ears in a specific direction to hear better.

Or if it is harder to tell their mood because their ears are a big give away of their moods.

Sorry so many questions lol but I've always wondered

Its ok :)
I'm not too sure scientifically how it is but I know the beige one moves her ears ALL the time for every reason
You can always tell her mood from her ears. When she's really relaxed her ears are down all the way. When she hears any kind of sound shes not sure of she moves her ears 45 degrees.
Her nickname is 45 because shes always moving her ears to 45 degrees lol
The black one usually keeps his ears down unless he's scared but he still shows his emotions through his actions.. like pushing me away with his nose etc.
My bunnies LOVE banana also.. I think they would do anything for it lol

Ohh ok cool. I always wondered how they were because I've read that in the wild lops don't do as well.

Have you ever tried to bake treats for your rabbits?
