I have to admit, as libertarian ideas aren't much of a thing here, I really had a distorted view of libertarian politics. (I think this happens to a lot of people with democratic socialism)

I have a lot more respect for it now, It's just still not my game.

Better than what's going on in the states now.

I really don't like Ron's stance on abortion, seems kinda backwards from his other views.

It meshes quite well with the non-aggression principle, the driving philosophy of libertarianism. Libertarians have huge arguments over this point, because some consider the aggression against the fetus the justification for using the "aggression" of the state to prevent said aggression.

Conservative libertarian here. All people are not equal, but all people should be equal before the law.

A bit adrift at the moment, but still very much a liberal both economically and socially. I look forward to some more global unification and hope that other nations aren't going to elect as many idiots. Because as much as I would like it to be true, my country isn't all that important globally. I liked our position of global trendsetter, and would love to go back to the roots of that. Create policy, implement it (small scale first if possible) and find out what works best, rather than just talking about it. Optimalization of society.

It's strange but I actually really enjoy how well the northern European governments work even though I'm ideologically opposed to them. Maybe I'm just opposed to them because I know that it'd be an abysmal failure in America.

I'm a member of Canada's Social Democrat party (where I also work) and a practicing secular Buddhist. I don't wear hats, not my thing.

I have no convictions, i have no stances, i disdain all types of governance and i have little interest in political hackery.

Even the Bible speaks that every soul be subject unto the higher powers.

Romans 13:1-4
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

1st Timothy 2:1-4
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1st Peter 2:13-17
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

2nd Peter 2:9-10
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

I have next to zero interest in politics and only pay attention in the month immediately prior to my casting a presidential vote, after which my interest level goes back to zero for another 4 years. My criteria for choosing who gets my vote are not rigid. I choose whoever I think is the better man.
