As long as you stay away from Turkey, I don't give a shit. On the other hand, if you try to steal Turkish lands, me, my uncles and all berserked Turkish people will come there and kick your asses out of the Turkish lands which is protected by our ancestor' blood.

The surge, objectively, was a success, so why should I care how uneducated Muslims polled?

UNESCO reports that prior to the first Gulf War in 1991 Iraq had one of the best educational performances in the region. Primary school Gross Enrollment Rate was 100% and literacy levels were high. Since that time education has suffered as a result of war, sanctions, and instability.

?

Get a edumacation yourself.

Edit: They fuck up your military equipment with homemade stuff, so I wouldn't call them stupid, unless you like to insult your boys in the process.

Update on the events in Kurdistan:

Several days ago an entire division of Kurdistans army, tanks infantry and all advanced on Mosul. There was a stand off between them and American forces at American/Iraqi army run checkpoints. The Kurdish forces halted after ordered by American forces and returned to Kurdistan.
I think it's pretty clear that the Kurds want there own country and they are ready to defend themselves and make it happen once the us leaves. Unfortunelty I fear they are doomed due to the f16s being given to the iraqi army which will aloow them to call in air strikes and have a huge advantage. I find this unfortunate because I believe the Kurdish people deserve their own state and that they will be mass murdered for trying to form it.

Another big problem is Turkey. They have absolutely zero interest in or tolerance for an independent Kurdish state as they believe (rightly so, I think) that it will encourage their own Kurdish separatists to try to carve out a piece of Turkey to add to an independent Kurdistan. Iran feels pretty much the same way for what it's worth although, obviously, we don't care as much about what the Iranians think.

On a completely different and lighter note, Top Gear just had a special where they drove through Kurdistan. There is some amazingly beautiful scenery there, and things must be going fairly well if the BBC will go fill entertainment there.

It's pretty amazing, you drive 20km down the road from where I currently am and you go from landfill town to beautiful countryside. This is what happens when you have a real government spending taxes like it should rather than corrupt shieks doing nothign but lining their own pockets in the name of Allah.

One of my friends spent some time in Kurdistan with Special Forces, and he has nothing but good things to say about the Kurds.
