So does that mean you believe evolution is wrong because you are a Christian?

(edit)
Since you believe in creation (Adam and Eve) why did Adam and Eve defy "God" by eating the fruit?

Evolution isn't a threat to Christian ideology, and the Fall happened on account of mankind's free will.

Is free will considered evil by Christians? Seems to me God gave us free will but we are not to use it.
Sure, use your free will and burn in hell for eternity if you do......seems to me.

...the better way to think of it is we are all free to accept or reject God's plan for our salvation . I exercise my free will all the time but hope to always submit to Gods' will over mine . In my submission I store up treasures in Heaven now that I am saved .

You are very explicitly supposed to exercise your free will, that doesn't mean you should do whatever you want, but that you should use your freedom to choose the correct path.

...and this is where proper study of Scripture comes into play . Yanking a citation or two out of the context in which it was intended is not going to be very enlightening and it takes many , many years to understand just the basics . There are multiple commentaries on every single verse of the Bible and learning from them is a discipline .

Sounds like the fucking thing needs a rewrite. We've all been reading the wrong thing for a thousand years. All those poor lost souls. Why would God do such a thing as allow His Word to be mistranslated over and over again so that only aging caucasian conservatives holed away in the dark can interpret the meanings of passages such as "God sent bears to kill the children" as "child is obviously meant to intend spiritual childishness, which makes it OK for God to order bears to kill them... you know, since they hadn't had a chance at redemption yet since their were spiritually childish... oops let me go think of some other bullshit interpretation since that one also makes God look like a dick..."?

Being killed by a bear is still a pretty bamf death for ancient times. Beats shitting out your GI tract due to dysentery.

...you'll have to take your profanity laced rant to the scholars I cited . I don't bother to defend Scripture to non-believers .

Scholars? More like apologists for a thousand years of lies and politically expedient, purposeful mistranslations.

...which has absolutely nothing to do with defending Scripture to non-believers . I don't engage in citation wars either .
