Sounds like the fucking thing needs a rewrite. We've all been reading the wrong thing for a thousand years. All those poor lost souls. Why would God do such a thing as allow His Word to be mistranslated over and over again so that only aging caucasian conservatives holed away in the dark can interpret the meanings of passages such as "God sent bears to kill the children" as "child is obviously meant to intend spiritual childishness, which makes it OK for God to order bears to kill them... you know, since they hadn't had a chance at redemption yet since their were spiritually childish... oops let me go think of some other bullshit interpretation since that one also makes God look like a dick..."?
