I am not in a race, no idea what you mean.
But I of course am independant enough to trust in my abilities, yes.
Confidence in yourself is extremely important if you ever wanna take responabilities in your life. If you dont trust yourself, who else can you ever trust?
Its absolutely imperative to build up trust in yourself and be confident in your abilities.

All this devote nonsense is totally foundationless.
Religion is absolutely sick from the roots upwards because of this weird self devaluation mindset.

While trusting in yourself and your own abilities is important, that has to do with worldly things.

The race I'm talking about is the Spiritual, eternal race. If what you do in this life affects what happens in the afterlife then you don't have a hope. The standard is impossible to reach.

The other Religions are all about what you can do to save yourself. Whereas Christianity is all about what God has done for us. The race I'm talking about is the race for Eternity, life after death.

Ephesians 2:8-9

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

This is what I been saying all along. Religion says do but Jesus says "It is finished."

I am not participating in that race, I dont think anything other than worldly things exists - just saying in case you didnt understand that.
