All they need to do is stop fighting.
War will be answered by war and peace will be answered by peace.
They could all lay down their arms and sing kumbayah and it wouldn't change the fact they're living in a concentration camp with nothing but the scraps their masters allow them.
Israel could give the Palestinians their freedom, land, and equal civil rights- and maybe some Israelis would die for it, maybe they'd be risking something serious.
But for the good of mankind, its entirely up to the Israeli's to make the move, as they're the ones that hold all the power.
When Palestinians and Palestinian Rights Activists try to demonstrate for peace, they got either shot, bulldozed, or assassinated by Israel.
Oh, and Israel makes a good point of pissing on their graves after they're dead, like Rachel Corrie.
Peace will be answered by peace? Tell that to her. Tell that to the 9 killed on the Mavi Marmara. Tell that to Mordechai Vanunu.

Going by the same standards, I should be mocking you because democracies can be direct democracies or have only one party like in China.
Of course it's a democratic republic, but you assclowns on the left are always so desperate to throw around "democracy" due to the emotional nature attached to the word and leave out the republic part of it as if to minimize the importance of what actually protects minorities in America (the republic part) so I felt it necessary to point out your shortcoming. Plain and simple: just because Israel doesn't have the same system as us does not mean they are not also a "democracy."
Israel isn't a democracy for the same reason China isn't a democracy- the people don't hold the power. They have nothing but token votes with ostensible mock power.
When you can vote for any party you want, but theres only 1 party, your vote is meaningless. And when the majority of the population can't even vote at all, there is no democracy to be had.
And thats what Israel is- an occupied terrortory where about half the population can't even vote. That is no democracy.
And no, "republic" isn't what protects the minorities in America, rofl. Thats the Jeffersonian part of the Jeffersonian Democracy, not the republic bit. The republic bit is just the structure of the government, it could just as easily be used to enforce majority rule.
No, the minorities are protected by the
constitution. By the courts, not the senators.
