First of all, the truth is not Russian propaganda. You keep claiming everything is Russian propaganda, while ignoring very real warcrimes carried out by the Ukrainian military. This is brainwashed nonsense - you are yourself a victim of propaganda but refuse to see it. Secondly, Russia has had troops in Crimea longer than the United States has been a country. Crimea is an integral part of Russia and vital to their national security interests. You think they were just going to let the United States walk in and take it over? You do know the US Navy had drawn up plans to put a navy base in the Crimean peninsula after the coup right? Plans which were exposed as having been drawn up *before* Yanukovych was even fully overthrown.
