The Druze in southern Syria are requesting to join Israel out of fear that they will be massacred.

That's not a fear. It's the reality.

I think its wrong move we can help them defend and maybe form a state but not directly join us.

It’s a great idea to offer them autonomy and protection. The Druze have a rich history and culture, a flag.. they will be a perfect buffer for Israel against those islamists from Syria.

You can do it like Russia did for the oblasts to escape Ukrainian terror. Start a referendum whether people want to be part of Israel there (MSM isn't a good source, proper screening is). If 2/3 agrees, make then an autonomous region under your protection. They are very few people but command over lots of land. Israelis are going to be safer as well from that direction.
