Yes. I sure hope you aren't one of those people who think that children should choose if and what to learn when they're still underage.
no , im one of those crazy people who believe the parents get to say what their kids study and learn , not a teacher , or a board
which is why people like me support variation in individual curriculum in state schools , and non-state schools , giving parents broader options
some people are not good at maths , we have calculators , people can live totally functional lives without knowing anything above basic addition , etc
so why do you believe its ok to force a child , against his/her parents wishes , to take and retake a class , over and again , simply because
people who want to feed their kids crap , and let them sit around all day , are allowed to
no matter what you may think about it
if a high school kid takes a german class , and fails , its ok to force them to do it over ?
nevermind what the kid thinks , or his parents , etc
there is such a thing as a basic education , and someone who fails every subject clearly has problems
but there is also such a thing as variation in intellect , and making someone who cant perform a task , repeat it over and over , is , among other things , cruel
you advocate using the power of the state to compel , with no rational given , other than
you believe it should be this way
