I’m putting together a Diablo II trophy collection showcase for my d2jsp profile. The image contains item screenshots, names, and section headers (Helms, Armor, Weapons, Rings, etc.).
The issue I’m running into is that the image looks sharp on my computer and when viewed directly from the image host, but once I embed it into my d2jsp profile using IMG tags it appears noticeably blurry and compressed.
Things I’ve already tried:
* PNG and JPG formats
* Splitting the collection into multiple images
* Different image dimensions
* Using direct image links from Postimages
When I click the image itself, it appears much sharper than it does inside the profile, which makes me think either d2jsp or the browser is scaling it down.
Has anyone run into this before?
Specifically:
1. Is there an optimal image width for d2jsp profiles?
2. Is there a preferred image host that preserves quality better?
3. Is d2jsp automatically resizing large images in profiles?
4. Are there any tricks to use to keep text and item screenshots sharp inside a profile, especially when zoomed in on?
Any advice would be appreciated. I’ve seen some extremely sharp collection galleries in profiles, so I’m assuming there’s a better way to do this than what I’m currently doing.
