You don't use the freehand pentool to vector >.> It's point, click, drag, unclick. I guess a tablet COULD be used, but I don't see it making a huge difference in your work.

Hey guys. I have a new idea for a lp since some time now.

The idea :

A DNA-helix in a nice perspective developing somewhere. on it, trains on rails, surfers or skaters driving along it. My problem is to find a nice picture or reference picture of such a helix.
I would like to know how to make it on my own using photoshop, illustrator or cinema 4D.

here´s an example of what I actually mean :

i see what you mean; anyway it will be very very hard to make that using illustrator nor photoshop since these are 2d softwares...
The only way i see is to use a 3d software such as 3dsmax/C4D or whatever, it doesn't seem too hard to make.
