Twas the night before mid-terms and all through the land
Not a voter was stirring, and mail-in was banned;
The people were dreaming along through the night,
in hopes that the tallys would lean to the right;
The ballots were nestled all snug in their box;
While lefties were sneaking about like a fox;
And mom in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,
When out on the lawn there arose suich a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,
Gave a luster of midday to objects below,
Then what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But a lefty clown show and some liberal tears,
With some hundreds of protestors, noisy and fast,
I knew they were led by some left-leaning ass.
I knew they were led by some
left-leaning ass. commie grifting lard ass.
