Because he's swedish? Lmfao. He was born in canada, but gets swedish citizenship from his dad and competes for sweden in international competition.

LW: Ovechkin: Russia
C: Mcdavid: Canada
RW: Draisatl: Germany
D: Hedman: Sweden
D: Hughes: U.S.A
G: Saros: Finland.

Mcdavid and Draisatl have crazy chemistry so can not seperate them.

With the other talent on the team Ovechkin would be unstoppable blasting one timers on the powerplay.

Hedman and Hughes would compliment each other well on defense.

Lot of different ways you could do this and be successful. Built for current status. Not the future.

One per country makes it tough. Would love to have Barkov on another 6 man team.
