Too soon to tell tbh

Carters plus side: Not much competition, will most likely get 15+ touches a game eventually
downside: terrible offense, Coleman

Elijahs plus: SF has an elite run game, beast unexpected first game, plenty of opportunities for offense to get tds
downside: so many rbs, SF hasn't been consistent with who's getting the ball gamely since Shanahan(similar to Patriots) so he could have a game with 3 touches. That beast game was against Detroit

I'd feel safer with Carter long term, but what really is his upside even?
Elijah for boom or bust weekly probably, might be a solid RB till they get healthy

Pretty well sums it up, 49ers also have tre sermon who was inactive wk1 and will probably be mixed in.

I heard Sermon was only made inactive to make room for the 3rd & 4th string running backs to play on special teams.

He may come out as the starter now that Mostert is down.

Mitchell has to at least be given the first shot after last week’s performance though, no? Mostert now done for the season, I feel like there’s no way Mitchell isn’t at least involved in the offense going forward

solid feedback, appreciate it gents

might just stick with carter since he could be the starter giving a decent floor but limited ceiling given this joke offense

#1 waiver claim will be pats D (started the panthers last weekend) lol

I def like Mitchell more for short term
SF is just too unpredictable with who they're using in the running game

yeah i think this is where i stand too.

elijah looked solid, but sermon they invested more in so will likely want to see what he offers and mostert will be back this year

carter could theoretically take over and produce 10-15 a week, even if that's his cap
